Carson Childers

Carson serves as Principal of Operations at SPRK Lighting, bringing a disciplined business backbone and operational precision to the company’s internal growth and project pipelines.

Carson earned his degree in Media Communication with an emphasis in Audio Production from Asbury University before building a versatile career across large-scale live production, systems management, and commercial operations. His background includes managing national executive production, overseeing complex audio, video, and lighting (AVL) operations for high-capacity venues, and touring as a musician and production manager. That firsthand experience across performance arts and technical infrastructure gives him a practical understanding of how creative teams operate and what back-office systems they need to do their best work.

At SPRK, Carson oversees the operational engine that keeps the firm running smoothly behind the scenes. Responsible for everything outside client-facing creative execution, he leads financial planning, contract reviews, procurement strategy, and internal risk management. His leadership on the LEGOLAND Shanghai MINILAND project earned a 2026 TEA Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement, proving his ability to guide complex international agreements across the finish line. By handling contracts and operational logistics, Carson provides the clarity and stability that allow SPRK’s design and technical teams to do their best work.
